Bryce Gidney, founder of Outlaw Forestry, walking private land in Colorado.

ISA Certified Arborist Serving Eagle County & Western Colorado

Bryce Gidney brings a long-range approach to land management shaped by years of hands-on experience in forestry, recreation, wildlife, and mountain property stewardship. An ISA Certified Arborist and lifelong outdoorsman, Bryce is known for his quiet professionalism, instinctive understanding of the land, and ability to help clients think beyond immediate mitigation toward the long-term health, usability, and legacy of a property.

Beyond wildfire mitigation and forest health, Bryce works alongside builders, architects, and landowners to help properties function cohesively over time. His work includes designing and building extensive trail systems, advising on recreational access, structure placement, equipment logistics, hunting considerations, wildlife habitat improvement, and the long-term usability of the land. His experience also includes the design and construction of a private ski run created to support both wildfire mitigation and wildlife habitat improvement.

Bryce’s understanding of both the operational realities of the land and the end-use experience of a property allows Outlaw Forestry to contribute far beyond traditional forestry work. Whether working on a legacy ranch, large-acreage residential build, or recreational property, his focus remains the same: helping clients care for the land in a way that is functional today and enduring for generations.

Outlaw Forestry approaches land management through the lens of stewardship, balancing wildfire resilience, recreation, habitat, usability, and long-term land health with thoughtful, strategic care.
