Outlaw Forestry is a family-owned land stewardship company serving ranches, estates, and mountain properties throughout Colorado. We approach land management through the lens of stewardship, balancing wildfire resilience, recreation, habitat, usability, and long-term land health with thoughtful, strategic care.
Founded by ISA Certified Arborist Bryce Gidney and supported by Partner & Estate Advisor Kelly Gidney, Outlaw Forestry brings together hands-on land management expertise and long-range property planning. Combining forestry, wildlife habitat improvement, recreational planning, owner representation, and estate advisory, our work helps clients think beyond immediate projects toward the long-term health, function, and legacy of the land.

Bryce Gidney brings a long-range approach to land management shaped by years of hands-on experience in forestry, recreation, wildlife, and mountain property stewardship. An ISA Certified Arborist and lifelong outdoorsman, Bryce is known for his quiet professionalism, practical understanding of the land, and ability to help clients think beyond immediate mitigation toward the long-term health, usability, and legacy of a property.
Beyond wildfire mitigation and forest health, Bryce works alongside builders, architects, and landowners to help properties function cohesively over time. His work includes the planning and construction of extensive trail systems, advising on recreational access, structure placement, equipment logistics, hunting considerations, wildlife habitat enhancement, and the long-term usability of the land. His experience also includes the design and construction of a private ski run created to support both wildfire mitigation and wildlife habitat improvement.
Bryce's understanding of both the operational realities of the land and the end-use experience of a property allows Outlaw Forestry to contribute far beyond traditional forestry work. Whether working on a legacy ranch, large-acreage residential property, recreational retreat, or new build, his focus remains the same: helping clients care for the land in a way that is functional today and enduring for generations.

Kelly Gidney serves as Partner & Estate Advisor for Outlaw Forestry, bringing over two decades of experience working alongside builders, architects, designers, brokers, and private clients across luxury residential and ranch properties. Her background spans branding, owner’s representation, estate identity development, and high-end construction environments, with a deep understanding of the building process, architectural intent, interiors, guest experience, and long-term property vision.
Throughout her career, Kelly has developed complete identity systems for ranches and residential estates, including ranch and cattle brand development, estate positioning, and creative direction aligned with the character of the land. Her experience in owner’s representation and private client advisory allows Outlaw Forestry to collaborate seamlessly within larger residential, ranch, and development projects while helping clients think cohesively about land, architecture, usability, and the overall experience of a property.
